Can you stand more . . .

. . . Zinnias ???

Sometimes I get obsessed with something and won't let go.
I just can't get over this patch of garden flowers.

We planted Zinnias many years ago, but stopped for some reason.

Hubby planted seeds all along this row next to the fence, but most didn't come up.
Can you imagine how it would look if they had all come up?

Will they come back next year from seed?  I don't remember.

Beautiful shots Amy!
The colors compliment each other well. Love their muted tones.
I want some. :)

Amy, you're obsessed with the zinnias like i'm obsessed with my hummingbirds right now. I do love zinnias and have orange, pink and yellow ones in my garden. I think they make awesome subjects for photography and add a lot of color to the landscape. I believe they're annuals and will not come back, but I could be wrong.

Beautiful photos! Zinnias are a good, reliable flower. I usually plant some, but didn't this year and I miss them.

These are so gorgeous. I toss out seed all the time and have no luck. Kudos to the bit of luck your hubby had. Maybe I'll try zinnias next time.

There is no flower so cheering as zinneas! I love them. This is the first year that I've not had them planted along my fence. Some years I've saved the seed to plant the next year. I especially love the giant ones like that and especially the muted pink color!! Amazing photos!

I love zinnias but do not know if they grow back next year. If I have a patch like that it would be my favorite photo shooting place for the whole summer ^_^ Thanks for sharing.

I think I've already told you how much I love your zinnias! Now, from what I remember from many years ago, zinnias are annuals, so your best bet is to pick the seeds, keep them in a nice dry place and replant them next year! I'll be anxious to hear what you do and what happens!

They are beautiful and they certainly would have been amazing had they all come up. Sadly, they are annual. My sis-in-law grew them the last 3 years, but this year she didn't get them planted. I may plant some next year.

Love the first photo! I haven't planted any in a long time but still a few come back in my flower bed. The seed must be protected or stubborn!
